Well there was the Sega Master System, I forgot to mention, released in 1986. I would call it the crappy version of the NES.

Yes, that is correct! The next step is the SNES of course. Man, memories of this system are some of the best. Sick days from school haha, I love these games so much. when I play them I can remember things from around the time i first played them, its pretty cool. I will remember stuff like oh man simpsons is on at 5 and fresh prince is on at 4. I think it still is anyways haha.
